Bio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haidy Ghonim is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher based in Cairo. She earned a BFA and an MFA from Helwan University. Her practice explores the intersections of body, narrative, and immersive experience, investigating how extended reality (XR) and digital technologies shape perception, embodiment, and emotional engagement. Engaging with narrative bioart, sexuality identity, queer theory, hybrid forms, sensory perception, sexual arousal, feminist perspectives, and genital mutilation, as well as human\/non-human, posthumanism, and psychological and social dimensions, her work creates multisensory environments. Through installation, sound, moving images, XR, and interactive media, Ghonim provokes reflection on the body, perception, and the interplay between technology and human experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>
