WHO AM I?
UV, 2023

In this project the main focus is on gender-identity, in connection to the previous mainstream stigma; as previously queer/transgender state was considered as a medical/psychological diagnosis; including people who have discomfort/anxiety with their gender.
The main questions of this project are if these claims of biological “human errors” as explanations of no binary/queer attitudes make sense? Or was it just another pattern of the homophobic social norms?
One of the cruel experiences that touched me (that is why I am expressing) is trying to fix these errors by fixing the gender of the newborn or in the last stage of the embryonic formation period of the foetus. Somehow, I see this cruel process as a metaphor for twisting our lives to serve the mainstream of capitalism; twisting our balanced nature, our dreams, and even our connection to nature and ourselves.
